"Lilacs" holds a special place as the inaugural painting in my landscape series, marking a significant transition into abstract art. Characterized by subtle color shifts and bold, daring strokes, it embodies a physicality and depth in its execution. Upon closer inspection, the many layers of paint subtly shine through, revealing the meticulous search for clarity within the composition. Dominating the upper right corner is a tree, shrouded in mystery, casting an intriguing presence over the central bushes. The surrounding grasses, painted in muted ochres and oranges, gently guide the viewer's gaze back towards the dense growth at the heart of the painting, creating a sense of focus and immersion in this vividly abstract landscape.
