Works on paper

Watercolour has always been at the heart of my practice, the medium I use to see and respond to the world while traveling and painting outdoors.

There is something uniquely truthful about working on location - capturing a specific place at a specific moment. These pieces are a visual diary - quiet observations in nature, where form, weather, and feeling meet in one session.

Many of these studies later feed large paintings in the studio. Each work on paper is framed by hand in fine hardwood.
